Registration – New Band — Sachse HS Mustang Band

Remember that fees are split into two categories: Charms Fees and Skyward Fees.

Charms fees will pay for items ordered that go through our Booster Club.
Skyward fees will pay for operational costs and go through the Skyward payment system.

New Member Package – $530

As a NEW MEMBER of the Sachse Band, your band fee pays for the following:

    BOA San Antonio Fees (covers hotel and partial transportation)

**$70 Concert Dress Fee is IN ADDITION TO PACKAGE PRICE. Paid by all FEMALE band students (does not apply to guard only). This is an additional cost to the package items above and is charged through your student’s Charms account with the other Charms Fees.

Skyward Fees:

The SKYWARD fees cover all contest entry fees for both individual and group entries to contests and festivals throughout the year. These fees also pay for music, smart music subscription and some transportation costs (for full band, does not include solo music or accompanist fee), transportation, and other miscellaneous items throughout the year.

Some SKYWARD fees are charged to ALL members. Other fees are charged dependent on whether or not it applies to your student. On your registration form below, please check ALL necessary Skyward fees that apply to your child.

• $200 – Operations Fee. Paid by ALL Members (new, returning, wind players, percussion, and guard)
• $100 – Instrument Usage Fee. Paid by any student using a SCHOOL-OWNED instrument; this includes percussion.

~ School-owned instruments: Oboe, Bass Clarinet, Bassoon, Tenor Sax, Bari Sax, French Horn, Euphonium, Tuba, and Percussion.
~ If you have a question about if an instrument is school-owned or not, please contact a band director.

• $100 – Percussion Camp Fee. Paid by all percussion students.

Additional Items:

NEW MEMBERS: you might find it helpful to have extra uniform pieces to help ensure you have clean laundry during marching season. It is not uncommon to have multiple performances in a 48-hour time period between pep rallies, football games, and all-day contests. You will be able to order additional items when completing the form below.

Marching Uniform – Gloves

Percussion students will receive wristbands.

Generic T-Shirt Size (Adult Sizes Only)

This would be for a generic t-shirt without any specific cut or style based on gender or slimness. This is for use only if a t-shirt is needed. A t-shirt is not included with registration.

$70 Dress Fee

Paid by all FEMALE wind and percussion students. This is in addition to the package price and only applies if a new concert dress is needed.

SKYWARD FEES

$200 – Operational Fee

This fee is paid by every member of the Sachse Band including new, returning, wind, percussion, and guard.

This fee is paid by any students using a SCHOOL-OWNED instrument; this includes percussion and guard members who play a school-owned instrument in concert band.
